CORE Perimeter Lockdown

CORE is a Control Ordnance with Recording and EMP capabilities, inspired by a self-deployable tripwire mine.
You deploy CORE into tight spaces, completely locking down the area and putting anything attempting to traverse it into a quandary.
Roughly the size of a tennis ball and equipped with a stealth projection shell, CORE is difficult to detect unless you are in close proximity.
After carefully orienting itself in zero gravity, CORE attaches itself to the center of a corridor, where it serves as an effective non-lethal area-control countermeasure. Equipped with a mini EMP emitter, its fibers trigger a small, targeted burst capable of disrupting or completely disabling the electronics of hostile intruders that come into contact with them. CORE records all activity, delivering valuable live intelligence.
